Frequently Asked Questions about Creatiate Stamps

Are custom orders returnable?
No. Custom orders are non-returnable, as they cannot be restocked. A design proof of your custom stamp(s) will be provided prior to completion, so be sure to ask questions or request changes/additional photos within 24 hrs of receiving your proof if you have any concerns.

What images can I use for custom stamps?
Any images that you send to Creatiate for reproduction must be your own drawing/design. Creatiate will not reproduce any images without permission from the owner. Images sent through e-mail or the Creatiate website are assumed to be the property of the sender.

Care instructions
To clean, run stamp under warm water and blot dry on a paper towel. Stamp cleaner or hand soap may be used with a soft toothbrush if you really want to get in the nooks + crannies. Be sure your stamp is dry before storing with rubber down on a flat surface.

Can I use Creatiate Stamps in clay or on fabric?
There are special inks for both clay and fabric. My favorite way to print onto clay is to use an underglaze ink pad like "Potter's Pads." Please note that stamps are created with paper in mind & stamps may not create an especially deep imprint into clay, depending on its hardness.
My favorite method for fabric stamping is to use "VersaFine" ink pads. They can be stamped onto fabric and then heat set so they become permanent/washable and also work with really high details.
